EE: Ronni, Ronni, Ronni...

Those scenes with Poppy and Jody were excrutiating. The first one was kind of funny but to have so many.....too much!!! I think they were trying to balance tragedy with comedy but it didn't work. EE can't quite do it as well as Corrie does!

I'm with you eefan. I think that has upset me more than the actual storyline. We have alcoholics, rape, murder, drug use, etc on the show and nobody really says anything. We have this storyline and all of sudden the show is giving a bad wrap to mothers who lost their children to SIDS?
Personally, I was more frustrated by the storyline that Kat and the baby weren't at the hospital the next day after she gave birth in store room and Ronnie was just up and about and totally on her own after giving birth in less than 24 hours!

I am so with you, Ladies. I think that is what I have been trying to say but have been failing miserably. I am not sure why this storyline has hit such a cord. I was more disturbed by Tony and Whitney, but that is just me...I was surprised that Kat and Tommy were not at the hospital as well, Sky. I know other countries are more "home birthy" than the States, but usually those come with a plan to have the baby at home...Kat and Alfie weren't planning on it, so shouldn't they have gone straight away?

Here's an update on the storyline --- it has a spoiler in it, so don't read ahead if you don't want to know what happens just yet:

I have not read the spoilers, but good god she is driving me CRAZY!!! Quit slouching around and TELL SOMEONE if it is bothering you that bad and if it is not, enjoy having a kid!! She is so whiny and spineless that she makes me want to strangle her. Jack was right, she does most things just for the attention. ARRRGGGGHHHH!

Well, I am happy to see the storyline is wrapping up. It started out well, but since the BBC caved in to the complaints, the storyline took a nosedive. I feel sorry for Jack, happy for Alfie and as always a little confused by Kat. She gets what she has been wanting for 4 months and she decides she can't do it and walks away??? I hate that she always does that..."I ain't doin' this!" stomp, stomp, stomp...I think if she ever allowed herself to actually be happy, it would kill her!
