I never thought about it that way but you're spot on. That kid can't walk from one end of the square to the other without something weird befalling him. You know what would be fun? If he got kidnapped and no one realized he was missing. For like a year.

Ok, so he wasn't kidnapped, but he was gone for a while and OMG what did they bring back???? Is that what jail does to you in England? I didn't like the last Ben, but this kid hasn't even opened his mouth and I don't like him....yuck!

haha yeah, it looked like he'd been through some sort of head-squeezing accident. Did they think that just getting another teenager and putting glasses on him would work?

I guess... but he goes from dead silence to hurling threats at Jay?? Did Juvie grow Ben a backbone? I don't know...He is sorta creepy. I guess that was what they were looking for...but he still likes baking cakes...I guess I will just have to watch and see.

Don 't like him either...... find him kind of weird and creepy. He sort of reminds me of Libby's old boyfriend Adam.

I am hoping that if they pit Jay and Ben against each other that Jay comes out on top. I like that character and actor. I think Jay is just a little smarter than Ben, but Ben is more evil. Hopefully smart will win out...

What scares me, is that I think he and Phil might be more dangerous than what Jay and Phil are turning out to be........ still, that shot to Phil's face was a beauty

If you think about what the old Ben was like, I don't care what happens in prison, you don't turn a whimpy kid like that into a hardman. I mean, a kid like Ben is likely to set houses on fires, murder people weaker than him like little old ladies or something, but nothing with face to face confrontation with another male. I'm just not buying it. Again, I'll try to feed into the fantasy by forgetting what the prior Ben was like, but right now it gets up my nose. Just wait until the new Lucy comes along. I liked the old new Lucy. LOL!

You make some good points, pirty. I think for me, the fact that he reminds me of Adam, just makes me buy into the "new" Ben character..........

I hope the "new" Lucy will be cast well..... I don't think they've done a good job with either Ben or Lauren.
