RE: Margam Castle 8x04
OMG - this ep was AWESOME!! I have to say it is by far my favorite MH overall ep to date now. It was funny, it was creepy (and Kevin Wade soooo reminded me of Dracula!) and it was just old, fun MH meets new, updated MH. Missed Ciaran though but found Steven Parsons a lot less annoying in this one.
Um, why can't we have castles like that here?? I know it's not that old of one but it is by far one of the more amazing ones!
Um, let's see, Yvette screaming again, David whacking Yvette upside the head was hysterical (think that was only shown in the extra but not sure). Jon Dibley and Karl freaking out while Kevin Wade casually strolled through the room (again, I say he's Dracula and was trying to keep them from finding his lair and he knew the others in the room wouldn't hurt him because they were his 'children of the night'). Karl and Stuart - eh, whatever. Cath - poor Cath. Felt sooo bad for her but she was fun to watch too. I've never laughed so hard at a whole episode before - but in a fun laugh not in a 'why am i watching this' laugh. Soooo would not have gone off on a vigil with Kevin Wade - see previous comments.
Overall, loved it, loved it, loved it! Um, I'm really hoping the first 3 eps of the season were the exception and not the rule. Margam Castle managed to get them to do the old MH creepiness while trying to rationalize many of the sounds were from the wind (which I don't care how brave you are, staying in a castle that size, abandoned with the wind howling like that - anyone would be terrified no matter how rational!!).
Just over here doing my Happy Haunted dance - and thinking I should check into what kind of mental health is covered by my insurance.....
