Times are a speeding up...

I've just upgraded my ISP account to 50mb/s. This means uploads have gone from about 90k/s to 230k/s, or about a 250% improvement. I had to downgrade the tv package to make this affordable, but already I can see that this will work to the benefit of the site.

Requests (from contributing members) will now be much easier to sort and daily TV shows will now be ready to download in around 12-15 minutes after broadcast...

how quick can you download a torrent nowadays?!

torrents are crazy fast - download about 5mb/s (700mb movie in 2.5 minutes). Uploads on torrents are about 550k/s (6x faster than before), but they've limited https uploads, which I use for the shows here, to about 220k/s per connection.

Hello Faceless...I also do not quite understand the tech stuff...but I wanted to pop in, and leave a big THANK YOU for all that you do!

I have been away for a while...and still hope to one day send a contribution for this tremendous website. I am so thankful that I can get GG's (sadly tepid) new show here, and all the other stuff I need to keep relatively sane!
