A win from us and a loss by the gooners puts us in 3rd....not getting greedy or anything, but 3rd looks a lot better in blue!

It was an awesome game! The lads played very well. Did anyone catch Sky Sports News? Bentley in his underwear....not sure that will ever be erased from my memory! I loved the shot of Gomes celebrating the goal...running around, jumping up and down and looking for someone to celebrate with! He was all alone in the wrong end of the grounds! Poor thing...

You finish the season a game too early and go out on the town.

Shame on them. It was almost as if they went in at the half, found out what that Arsenal was winning and said "Oh well, no third, let's just coast.." and allowed 4 unanswered goals....I hate to end the season on a sour note.. :(

I agree... very grim. But... a successful season without a doubt. Glad I stayed at home on Sunday though.

Yep, overall a great season! I just found out (I am sure it is old news to everyone else) that 6 Spurs were named to the provisional England squad: Lennon, the Hudd, Dawson, Crouch, Defoe and King. Well done!

Time to bump this thread up!

So the big friendlies start in anticipation for the new season. A nice little run around for the players in the hot sun earlier in San Jose. Even though it was a 0-0 it wasn't that bad a game to watch.

Townsend and Bale both put in good efforts, maybe with the former trying to earn a place in the team, definitely worth a go as a sub for league games.

As for Jenas and Keane - if they were trying to impress their suitors, they didn't really do a good job. It was good to see second half sub, Modric stamp his authority on the game though.

The new kit looked alright, sporting a new sponsor, Autonomous. It must be a first for a EPL team next season to have a different sponsor on the shirt for cup games as we are doing.

So New York Red Balls on Thursday, probably with a Monsieur Henry making his debut for them. Cue Spurs fans booing him when he gets the ball and maybe the Irish contingent in the crowd too?!!
