Perhaps he could use that 1000 quid to pay back the 40,000...I guess that is what happens when you cut corners. Will they put him in jail for this?

Anyway, COYS.... Beat Hull...

He could go to jail for sure - the jockey Lester Piggott did a stretch for something similar back in the 80s.

That would be bad...very, very bad. Hopefully they will just fine him and make him pay what he owed. Fingers crossed....

I wish I had checked earlier, modern...thanks for the link. I kept an eye on the BBC updates while I watched other games (my brother's household is all sick, so I was on my own...). My brother sounded very frustrated on the phone when I talked to him after the match. We should have killed Hull and instead we let them have a point.

Oh well... very frustrating draw. Umpteen shots on target and no goals. But six unbeaten on the trot, six clean sheets, and fourth at the end of the night!

We seem to have real trouble beating the lower league teams at home this season. But it doesn't help when they turn up and 'park the team coach' in their final third!

Yeah, but true top 4 teams figure out a way to beat some of those "park the coach" teams. We seem to play to our opponent. Almost like we say "Oh, it's only Hull, we won't train as hard...it's Hull, no problem" then we produce something like yesterday. The Chelsea's of the world would have crushed them... We still need that killer, win at all costs instinct. Not the flop in a light breeze kind, but the true, finish 'em off with that second, third or fourth goal kind.

Think Modric seems better on the left side of the park. They were there for the taking tonight and we blew it.

Amen! I am right with ya, Colston...It is unfortunate that we can't seem to play the big games. We just aren't top 4 material yet.

It doesn't help that when you score the referee disallows the goal for no good reason... but not unknown for us in the cold horrible north west. At least this ref didn't pretend not to see it!
