Two people put each other in hospital over shopping cart

A row between a 74-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman over a supermarket cart in Aachen escalated into a violent altercation in which two people required emergency treatment. The argument concerned the last trolley available outside a supermarket in Aachen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The situation got out of hand when the younger brother of the woman hit the old man in the face.
The tensions were carried over into the supermarket until the situation boiled over at the cheese department. Here, the mother of the young man who hit the man tried to intervene, and the 74-year-old pushed her onto the glass counter. This ended the fight, but both the 53-year-old mother and the 74-year-old were taken to hospital in an ambulance. An investigation has been opened to clarify how the fight started.

I was delayed in the supermarket the other day by some woman walking along at a really slow pace TEXTING. I thought 'Fuck it' and just pushed my way past her - she then accused me of being rude... 'You were holding up everyone behind you because you wanted to send a bloody text, and I'm the rude one?' I said. She attempted to splutter an answer but just stormed off... ha!
I doubt I'd have shoved her into the meat counter though.
