Wow - those photos of the storm are amazing. I particularly like the one with the lone walker in Dawlish. Very atmospheric.
We had some bad weather left-overs from Hurricane Ida, then it went really nice for a few days - in the 70s. Now we're back to rain and cloud and 50s today. Coming week is back to normal for the year: 60s and a mix of sun, clouds and rain.
We have some nice fall action going on with the Carolina trees at the moment. Wish I was a good photographer !
Biggest storm of the year sweeps Britain off its feet
well, today's been really bad here - even for Glasgow. I was just out cycling and I don't think I've ever had such an adrenaline rush from the danger! I managed to miss two car drivers who hadn't seen me (even though I've got the hi-viz jacket and really bright lights), and then on the way home I went through an underpass just as a truck went over and through a massive puddle - causing almost a wave of splashed water. I had to laugh as it must have looked really funny to anyone who saw it... I was drenched!
