V - 2009

I was a big fan of the original tv series in the 80s, so I was a bit cautious about watching the first episode of the new remake that was broadcast last night. But I'm quite impressed with it so far. There's some pretty big sfx at the start, but it's not overdone and the plot is based on interactions rather than just visuals. A good start really. The main female role so far is played by the blond woman from Lost (she's in the photo above).

i did watch it to did enjoy the show and look forward to the the next one
did you get it off the net or did thay show it the same time in the uk

I downloaded it - in about 5 minutes...

I've tried a few 'big' series over the last few years and this is one of the few that I've thought that I'll defintiely stick with for a while. I quite liked the way the underground were basically internet conspiracy types.

i saw this tonight and thought it was pretty good as well, looking forward to the rest

i think i watched the original but can't remember much about it, except the aliens eat mice or rats?!
