Oh well.... down to earth with a bump. Another horrible performance and this time beaten in the last few minutes by a team who haven't won at WHL since 1975. Boo hoo hoo.

I was listening to it on talksport and it sounded like Spurs really didn't do much to push for a score. Not beating Stoke is a black mark for sure.

Really ugly...It seems that whenever we have a big game (winning this game would have tied us on points for 1st ...) we do something like this. I am not sure what to think. I hope we are sufficiently pissed enough...and I mean mad not drunk...that we take it out on the Arse this weekend. All of my sports teams lost this weekend, but I take the Spurs loss the hardest. Some days I just wonder why I watch sports at all...

Should be playing the fringe players tomorrow against Everton, seeing as it's only the Carling Cup, which I don't think 'Arry is arsed about this year. Rather go for the lofty hights of a top four place. Or finish in top six for place in Europe.

Anyway it will give a chance for these players to stake a claim for a first team slot...

I would be disappointed if Pav doesn't get a run out at least.... Bentley and Bale too

Well they all played and we won comfortably enough. Bad news on Aaron not being fit for Saturday though.

Hoping to do my piece for the magazine again! Fingers crossed.

Bently it is then. Sure Crouch will relish his crosses!

Definately bad news about Aaron...we need his speed against the Arse. I am just too nervous to think about it. I hope that we play the trick and get the treat!!

Wow, not sure what to make of that. I guess that was my trick for the day...I hate losing to them and that is all I am going to say before I go on a rant. :(

It is always a long drive up there when we go and do that... feel very tired and very glum about the whole thing.

Just after Bentley's free kick... our best moment...

Empty seats with ten minutes to go...

Grim reading...

Grumpy Colston afterwards....

Thanks for the pics, Colston. You do look glum. Sorry the day wasn't better for you. The saving grace of being so far away is that I didn't have to sit there with those...those...Gooners, while they seemingly scored at will.

There is nothing worse... the second goal so soon after the first was like a body blow... people around me just left!

Kudos to you for sticking it out. We are Spurs supporters win or lose. So many people want to bail when we are a couple of goals down. My feeling is I stay when we are winning and I stay when we are losing.

For my sins I'm a stayer... to the bitter end, every time.

Often means sitting in long traffic queues!
