I am not so sure I like the way that the have done the Christian/Syed get together. It happened too fast...it needed more build up. But then again, I am not so sure that it's fair that the two best looking guys on the square are into each other!! Ok, bring in the doctor!!
MMMmmm...I know this is slightly off-topic, but I went to the dentist this morning and OMG he was GORGEOUS!!!! Good job I wasn't in there long otherwise I would have not been able to keep breathing. :-)

Aren't you lucky that you're allowed to drool there!
I must honestly say that I've not been upset at all by this change in character. Maybe it's just me but the actors seem to have a real good chemistry and I've enjoyed watching them together.
Secretly I have too, it just seems such a waste that thwo most handsome men on the show (with the exception of the Dr) are into each other! They are doing a wonderful job with it and I hope that the Muslim community doesn't have a problem with it.
I was thinking the same thing too Spurs. It has to be difficult. What I am liking is they are showing something I haven't seen handled too often in soaps. The idea of someone rejecting who they really are and want so they can fit in a specific society. It's sad indeed.
It's all going to end in tears for everyone. Syed will be unhappy in his marriage, and because his heart is not in it, it will not be a good marriage for Amira. Bad vibes will be had for everyone, probably even the family members. I understand Syed's position being as he comes from a religious family that frowns on homosexuality, but I think his particular family can overcome it with time. My own Catholic side of the family have 4 homosexual males and they managed to deal with it. What it comes down to is that they are family, and you don't just stop loving them because of who they are attracted to. I hope Syed finds the courage to be who he is and tell his family.
