RATS have caused further mayhem for Big Brother after chomping into the show?s live feed.

The pesky rodents, like our joke mock-up, gnawed at crucial wires ? causing sound to flick on and off for FOUR HOURS early yesterday.

An insider said: ?The rats have been running around for a while but this is the first time they?ve gone for the production kit.?

But viewers SMELT a rat yesterday when the sound cut as housemates rowed about their rodent intruders.

One suggested on an internet forum: ?Perhaps they just don?t want the public to know there are rats in the BB house?? An argument kicked off after a rat was discovered in the kitchen and Glyn threatened to kill it.

Livid Richard replied: ?If anyone kills it, I?ll kill them.?

The camp Canadian sought back up from Susie, who said: ?Tell Glyn, if he does that the general public will dislike it very much, if he smashes the brain out of a rat on television.? Mikey stepped in to defend Glyn saying he was only joking and accused Richard of ?trying to lick Susie?s a***.?

We revealed how rats had invaded the house and were causing a nuisance.

Lea sneakily left food out to encourage them to return, annoying her fellow housemates. But BB chiefs scolded her and installed humane rat-traps which irritate them with high-pitched noises.
