I'm outraged too - but only because it's so bloody stupid. Who would be offended by seeing a Christian symbol in a Christian church, and yet also be a fan of Coronation Street? I hope whoever decided this was a good idea gets some kind of public flogging!

What an odd thing to do -- it was so obviously a Christian Church and a Christian ceremony. Don't understand whatever "logic" was behind the decision to cover the cross in a church.......
