Alan Bennett is the least favourite? He's not even a comedian! I can only imagine that they only actually had about 10-20 people replying to the entire poll for him to get a mention.
As for Peter Kay being number 1, that says it all about how easily the public are fooled by gloss. Kay's not done a single new thing in years. Fecking garlic bread.
That top ten list is a fucking disgrace! The only people on it who I don't hate are Dawn French and Rowan Atkinson!! Where's Russell Brand?! Where's Stewart Lee?! Where's Bill Bailey?!
O dear, I am truly ashamed of these results. Maybe it was a poll of people after being forced to eat raw oil and coal for a week. For me, without taking a great deal of notice of the whole list I would say the two lists should be switched.
