Here's something I just found to get things going - it's called 'Patriot Brigade Radio' and is pretty much as you'd imagine from the name - right-wing, evangelical, bollocks.

I remember thinking, as a 10 year old, that voting seems the best thing in the world... haha
Like I said before, this was early voting. These people waiting to vote are doing it before the official election day. So these polling places aren't going to be schools, churches, etc., they are going to be other government facilities set up for early voting. This is obviously meaning there is a smaller amount of places for these people to go and vote, so they have to wait longer.faceless wrote:ok, you can have your line!, but why do people have to wait 4-5 hours? The longest I've ever waited is 10 minutes - ours are open 6am to 10pm though.
There is a lot more than voting for president going on. We have senator elections as well as other local items to vote for. Some more than others in certain places. These bills and laws can be lengthy to read and if you haven't been versed in them before you came you will want to read through them before you vote.faceless wrote:But I live in a highly populated area, so it makes no sense to me that anyone has to wait longer than a few minutes to tick a box and go home.
