Blaming this situation on low-level politicians is nonsense. It's the corporate system that's at fault.

I must be honest.

I did not take that from this man's message. Instead, I took the message that we "Do not have our priorities straight" in Washington.

I do not believe that problems were caused by this directly, to answer your question.

But I have believe and now it is confirmed for me one more notch that we clearly are not priortizing problems accuratly upon the importance to the people.

As far as I'm concerned Washington has never had its priorities in any direction that I'd call straight... well not since the ink on the Declaration of Independence dried.
