Evil EastEnders paedophile Tony King is set to strike again - targeting schoolgirl Lauren Branning. Despite 200 complaints from viewers after ex-con Tony was shown bedding stepdaughter Whitney Dean before the 9pm watershed, he will turn his attention to Lauren, 14.
Tony, played by Chris Coghill, be comes infatuated by the girl - actress Madeline Duggan - when she visits Whitney. An Albert Square insider said: "He has got away with abusing Whitney for years but it seems one young girl isn't enough."
Actor Chris, 34, has been given 24-hour police protection over fears he could be attacked by confused fans believing him to be a real-life danger. But Chris said: "I hope the storyline encourages abused children to speak out."
Interesting change of events for sure. I would have thought they would have had him keep it in the family, as abusers who are in the family tend to do. Him going after Lauren is going to be weird and not really that smart. Max is going to go off the deep end and honestly, I don't picture Lauren falling for this right away. I doubt also that he will know that her Uncle/Mother's boyfriend is an ex-copper.
Pretty much what I was thinking as well. Max is going to go mental when this happens and will accuse Tanya of not watching the girls properly (Jack too) and use this as a way to get more access or custody.
My other thought is that Lauren might reveal this to Lucy first, because of her history and Lucy will try something to expose/get back at Tony.
Either way, I think this should be an intersting turn of events.
Maybe he'll kiss her and Lauren will confide in Lucy. Lucy might be the key to this blowing out into the open, unless Whitney brings it out in the open because of jealousy. Lauren to me looks even younger than 14.
That was an interesting Friday. Will she blurt all out in the open? I don't know if anyone has any spoilers on this subject. Wonder if she'll confide in what's his face, the born again preacher guy. Maybe she did already and he didn't say anything? Interesting indeed.

Right! That is true, I forgot about that. Then again, if he came downstairs after talking to her, then said to Tony....yer fired! That would open a can of worms, however, since Tony hasn't actually started yet, I wonder if the preacher will tell Tony just before he starts work that....nope, sorry, no can do. It's going to be interesting as to how this all unfolds. I wonder if Digital Spy is updated yet.......I'll go take a peek....

Well, he did give him the job on Friday, so yeah, he would have had to say "You're Fired" But I'm with you, it will be interesting to see how it unfolds!

I didn't realize he had started the job already. Oof, that means he's gonna be around a lot of kids. If Lauren doesn't work out, he has a great pool of potentials to choose from. I'm thinking this story is going to be nipped in the bud sooner rather than later though. So, once the Tony thing is done with, I wonder if Ricky and Bianca will get back together. If he's smart, he'd stay well away, but I'm thinkin' he ain't that smart...lol!
