Not a surprise really. This is who everyone predicted it would be. I know little about him except that he is an attack dog, which is honestly something Obama needs. His campaign is about as tough as a stale marshmallow at the moment and he's in serious need of some chutzpah.
According to the profile page on the BBC, biden "ran for presidency in 1988 but withdrew after he admitted plagiarising a speech by the then leader of the British Labour Party, Neil Kinnock."
it was biden who proposed the 'biden plan for iraq' where he planned on 'unifying' the country ... by splitting it up into 3 separate regions, one each for kurds, shiites and sunnis. he didn't explain what would happen to those families where one parent was shiite and the other sunni ...
