Musharraf to face impeachment?

This could be a turning point for Pakistan. After the assassination of Benazir Bhutto earlier this year I'd imagine the people have been wondering how the hell they're going to regain some dignity in the face of a US supported dictator like Musharraf.

It's about bl**dy time. My $2 is on Musharraf attempting to dissolve Parliament, though. Either that or he will challenge their right to impeach him.

One bit of news coverage I saw in the past week referred to the "bloodless coup" with the nebulous "since he came to power" (or office; I don't recall which). It's sickening that western media still bow and scrape to tyrants.

That's great news for the country - as long as the transition is smooth and the extremists are kept at bay.
