Scottish tennis player Andy Murray said that he'd "support anyone playing England" in the world-cup, in the same way that I'd guess 95% of the population here would do, and as a result he's had a huge amount of abuse thrown at him from bitter ingerlish...

you can read it here on his blog...

Thanks for that link faceless. Some of those comments are so mean! He certainly didn't deserve that sort of abuse or nasty comments about his family. He's only 19 years old.

He should be able to say whatever he wants and I'm glad he took liberty in doing so. THIS is one of the many reasons why I'd not support England and never will. I'd be behind France and puking in a bucket for my decision before I'd support them because of cheek like that.

GO BRAZIL GO lol :P

So far we have Germany and Italy in the semis, will England beat Portugal and make it through too? GOD I hope not....

I reckon England will probably win, but it will be a pleasure to watch if Portugal pull through!

I agree with you on this on Face although I'm watching the match right now and at this point, neither one of them looks too great..... but we still have another half to go.

my 2 faves on Man United.....Rooney and Ronaldo. Rooney stepped aside so his mate Ronaldo could take the dream away. Mighty kind I have to say.

I proudly wear the Man Utd jersey with Rooneys name and number but I'm thinking it's time to get a Ronaldo one now just to say THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

Mighty find day in World Cup if I do say so myself!

Sorry to the England fans though and I am gloating like a bloody cow but this just made my day.

My deepest sympathy :agree: (ONLY to maycm though) lol

Translation

Schadenfreude is a German term meaning "pleasure taken from someone else's misfortune". It is sometimes used as a loanword in English and other languages.

There is life after England my friends!

The best way to get over this depressing goings on is by you england fans supporting Brazil. They play against France in round 15 minutes or so, and we all know France should be on the losing end of that match, so I say support Brazil so they can beat the team that sent england packing. Makes sense to me?

   GO BRAZIL
