That was a good speech, but he was a little slack with the facts, wasn't he? Talking about Britain's 28 days, soon to become 48 days, as being "the worst in the world". I suppose it's the worst in the world if you ignore all of the countries that are even worse still... I believe the period for being held without charge in GuantanamoBay is somewhat longer than 28 days, for a start.

I suppose he might mean the worst period that is actually written into a country's law, since Guantamamo is technically illegal, but still, it's a bit of a cherry-pick.
