Just got season 6 off this - the best ever prison drama. Did anyone else watch it on Channel 4?

I did see some episodes but I kept forgetting when it was on, so never really saw many full shows. I thought it was excellent though - bleak as hell, and enough to make me want to be a good little boy!

Channel 4 really surprised me - firstly by actually showing it at all (Beecher getting raped and tattooed in the first episode), but then just as I got hooked they started altering the times. I think seasons 5 and 6 ended up going out between 3 and 6 in the morning.

I watched a few shows the first season and I thought it was great. The writing, direction, cinematography, acting...it is all amazing. I really need to start watching it again.

Loved this show -- especially Christopher Meloni!!! You can still catch episodes of OZ in the USA on "HBO On Demand."

It was funny seeing Beecher (forget the actor's name?) appear as a recovering alcoholic/sex addict on "Desperate Housewives. Hope the poor guy won't be typecast for the rest of his career!

Hahaha - my favorite post OZ spot is the Neo Nazi Schillinger as J Jonah Jameson in the Spiderman movies!

Oh right, the actor who played Schillinger also appears (as several of the former "Oz" actors do) on the "Law & Order" series. At least he's not being typecast!

I loved OZ, especially the grittiness of the show.
It's fun trying to spot all those actors from OZ in other shows or movies. I saw Said in that Nic Cage movie about an arms dealer.
