I'm sure a few of you will have noticed that the site's been going down in the last 24 hours. This is entirely due to the server company - again. If you see the 'phpbb critical error' appear, try refreshing a few times. Hopefully they'll have this problem settled properly soon.
I did notice that and thought it had something to with being at school...I should have been studying, not posting, so I thought maybe the uni study gods were try ing to tell me something!
the site's been going off quite a lot in the last few days, which is probably down to the techs being off for the weekend, but with the site renewal in May I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get a more powerful setup.
Hmmmm.. I wondered if this might have been happening when I couldn't login at work. And I was trying to show a friend what a forum and threads were all about..... little difficult to explain how great we are here when I couldn't pull the site up. But good to see it's back and working fine
I spoke to the support today and they said it was all fixed. We'll see though. That's a shame you couldn't get the demo running though - but you should be fine for a skive from work tomorrow! haha
That's it just back now - it's been offline since friday night at 11pm my time.
I'll definitely be moving companies when the renewal comes up in May.
In case this happens again before then, could every active user send me an email using their current address? That way I can make a mailing list that's current - I sent out about 20-30 messages yesterday, but I only got a reply from a few.
