"In a flip-flop of reality, a surly Palestinian soldier guards
a West Bank checkpoint, as a line of haggard Israelis wait to have their ID cards examined."

Oh man. If only this was shown all across the US and Europe. The tincture of Nazism would open so many eyes...

Unfortunately, hardly anyone will see it.
Out of sight, out of mind...

An interesting article with a single exception:
Even after the fighting died down, cinemas stayed closed as a rising tide of conservative Islam replaced angry nationalism.
Seems to pidgeon-hole Palestinians into one of two groups -- equally unlikable to the west.

Still, I look forward to watching this movie if and when it becomes available.

If it ever gets onto google/you tube, hopefully the audience will grow. Though the downside is that it doesn't directly pay the producers (who are probably making a loss). In the modern internet age, it looks like the main way to earn money on music and films is going to be via spin-offs (e.g. merchandising, touring etc.) whilst making the "original" freely available to maximise the audience.

Therefore if the producers themselves upload the film, but then have a donate link ..

p.s. There was a London Palestine Film Festival at the Barbican in 2006 & 2007 :
