Corrie star slags off soapstars

EX-CORRIE actor Thomas Craig has slammed soapstars who moan they're worked to the bone. Thomas, who played mechanic Tommy Harris for almost three years before his character was killed off in 2005, said: "I don't think it was busy or hectic. You might have a week or two weeks where you're busy, but then you've got two weeks off. Corrie had 55 regulars in the cast, 55 people aren't busy every day, are they?"

The 45-year-old, who appears in the new series of Caroline Quentin's Blue Murder, doesn't have time for actors who whinge - particularly those who say fame ruins their lives. He added: "If you live your life as you normally do and you carry on, you can live your life. I used to watch Corrie all the time before I was in it. Now that I know everybody, I would never watch it."

Does anyone else detect a hint of bitterness about him? haha

That really is funny. His character was very believable. In fact, that last storyline with him laying on the cold cement was pretty good I thought. He looks a lot different in this photo.
