EE: Ronnie and Roxy

Do you like Ronnie and Roxy? Why or why not?

I dislike Roxy because every time she speaks, I feel like slapping her. I don't know why. There is something irritating about her. She looks like a cheap slut and I think she walks around thinking she's bit better than that. Now Ronnie....She has a weird face...LOL!! She is supposed to be the voice of reason sort of like the Moon brother relationship. Jake and Danny. Totally transparent. If she were smart, or smarter than her sister, she'd be leading her own life. I know it all sounds so petty. I guess it is. I don't like either of them, but loathe Roxy the most. '-)

I like Ronnie but Roxy's constant screaming does my head in. She acts like spoiled brat, always throwing temper tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants.

I have to agree with both you both. But I honestly don't like Ronnie either. She's far to stuck up.

I have to say I'm undecided. I agree with everyone on their points about Ronnie and Roxie, and yet, they're kind of like Ian's character in my mind. They do all sorts of annoying and irrtating things, and then out of the blue they turn around and do something nice or kind.

I'd like to see they're characters develop a little more and see what happens.

I also cast an undecided vote. I did think that Roxy had a lot of nerve to get mad at Peggy when she couldn't loan her money -- FFS, she's been living rent-free, amongst other things.

I didn't like her complete and total lack of empathy for Peggy's situation. I wouldn't be surprised however, if Phil finds out about his mum's money woes via a phone call from Roxy (just speculating here, not sure!).
