Corrie: Cilla's In The Money
Corrie: Cilla's In The Money
I was sorry to see the new character in Cilla's life die so soon. I was hoping they would make their storyline longer and very funny. It had lots of possibilities. Then Cilla could have become the "silk purse" she'd always longed beiing. The actor played Billy, the Robin Hood character, in Last of The Summer Wine those many decades ago. Think the next few weeks will be entertaining with her new found riches. Looking forward to it.
You just knew the jeweller was talking thousands, didn't you...!faceless wrote:yeah, I was disappointed not to see that 'Frank' making her jump through more hoops - but it was pretty funny to watch her in the jeweller's
Very nice scene. I'm going to miss Cilla when she leaves. I think she's been better without Les around.

Unless she finds another sad sack to latch on to in "Vegas", she'll burn through that 45,000 Pounds very quickly in the US. Especially since she has indicated that she likes slot machines. Also, I don't know about you lot, but it ain't that easy just to say "hmmm....I think I'll move to America and live there". One has a 3 month tourist visa like everyone else in Europe. She needs to get a visa to stay longer. I wonder if they'll explain that one, or just leave it be.

They never explain it in soaps. I mean Michelle left EE to go to live in the US, as did Sharon. Wicksy left to go to NZ. Kaffy left to go to South Africa. Any mention of visas or the visa process...???? NONE!!pirtybirdy wrote:Unless she finds another sad sack to latch on to in "Vegas", she'll burn through that 45,000 Pounds very quickly in the US.
