Corrie: Cilla's In The Money

Post by tec »

I was sorry to see the new character in Cilla's life die so soon. I was hoping they would make their storyline longer and very funny. It had lots of possibilities. Then Cilla could have become the "silk purse" she'd always longed beiing. The actor played Billy, the Robin Hood character, in Last of The Summer Wine those many decades ago. Think the next few weeks will be entertaining with her new found riches. Looking forward to it. :)

You just knew the jeweller was talking thousands, didn't you...! :giggle:

Very nice scene. I'm going to miss Cilla when she leaves. I think she's been better without Les around.

I'm going to miss Cilla as well -- she's a riot.

Also, can someone please remind me where Les is at the moment? Thanks in advance...

Les is 'on tour with Status Quo' - though in reality he's been sacked and they still haven't worked out a proper exit.

Unless she finds another sad sack to latch on to in "Vegas", she'll burn through that 45,000 Pounds very quickly in the US. Especially since she has indicated that she likes slot machines. Also, I don't know about you lot, but it ain't that easy just to say "hmmm....I think I'll move to America and live there". One has a 3 month tourist visa like everyone else in Europe. She needs to get a visa to stay longer. I wonder if they'll explain that one, or just leave it be.

True, but she'll have to pay an escort to cross the border, and carrying that kind of cash, she'll probably get robbed.

They never explain it in soaps. I mean Michelle left EE to go to live in the US, as did Sharon. Wicksy left to go to NZ. Kaffy left to go to South Africa. Any mention of visas or the visa process...???? NONE!!

Vice versa as well. I needed to get a residence visa to live in Denmark. I can't just move to any country I feel like...LOL!! Well, I'm sure they'll say she found a rich Vegas guy or something later on.

Even though I just started watching Corrie I really enjoyed Cilla but it seems they left a door open for a possible return.
