Another year with England in the finals....another year with Scotland watching on...

The green eyed monster rears it's ugly head again.

Well, you've obviously never been on the shitty end of enforced jingoism so I'll patronisingly nod in agreement.

Here's the "official" song that The Sun are pushing as an anthem... harking back to WWII and all that jazz! I think the "Wayne's World (cup)" line is truly breathtaking!

Here's the official England anthem video from "Embrace". It's got to be the worst world-cup song in years... since maybe 1986 when we saw Glenn Hoddle's mullet bobbing away!

Follow our step-by-step guide to making your own World Cup. Watch out because things are going to get messy!

Image
You will need one marigold rubber glove.

Image
Nice one!

Image
Next, you'll need a grapefruit.

Image
And some fresh, thick and creamy custard!

Image
Grip your grapefruit with a steady, safe, Paul Robinson-like hand.

Image
Pour your custard over with your other hand or get a friend to do this for you. It's more fun with two!

Image
A lovely little dribble . . .

Image
Oozing confidence . . .

Image
Flowing forward.

Image
A sweet finish!

Image
They think it's all over. . .

Image
It is now!

We shall see, Irish. Never underestimate the little guy. Look how well they did to even get to the finals, one of the only teams not to lose a match I think. Look at the players, we have arguably the best goalkeeper in the world (Petr Cech), look at what he has done for Chelsea. And most of the rest of the team play for the top teams in Europe, Liverpool, Juventus, Borusia Dortmund, Hearts(?!?!?!?). I think Czech will do really well in this competition. I think they are ranked 3rd or 4th in the world, just ahead of the USA!!!!!!!!!!!. What does that tell you about rankings? Anyway I think you will all be surprised at how well Czech will do. Over and out.
