He later returns in September 2007 to haunt Ian with the ghost of his mother and Ian's ex-wife Cindy. Ian believes Cindy has been contacting his daughter from beyond the grave, he goes in search eventually ending up in a warehouse where he discovers Steven in a room full of images of Ian and Cindy with Ian cut or cross out.

It has been confirmed that in November he will take lucy hostage which leads to one of the squares longest residents to bow out[/spoil]
[spoil] What was that word that Ian said at the very end? I've played it over and over again, and have no clue[/spoil] :?
[spoil]It can't be. [/spoil]

I had to watch it more that once as well.

I've turned it off for this post, but if you do that normally it will show with the 'hidden' box.
Thanks Face, I'll get the hang of it....eventually.

OK, what DID Ian say at the end? I've watched it several times and at first I thought he said "Tommy", and now it sounds like he's saying "It can't be".

Help, it's driving me nuts!!!!

LOL!! Well, I suppose deep down I really did want it to be Cindy, and if not Cindy, someone we totally didn't expect. Since it was one of a couple of theories thrown out there, I guess that is why I'm a little disappointed. Also, the fact that this kid, albeit dark in the room, didn't resemble what I thought should have been what Steven would look like. I expected a tall blonde man/boy. Ah, but let's see what happens after the week is through. I can change my opinion with the wind when it comes to EE..

 Well I am glad it wasn't Cindy. For so many reasons. And don't forget, Steven is really a Wicks, which would explain the dark hair :)

Very true, but he is Cindy's also, which I think was true blonde......or was it? lol!! We saw him growing up from a 3 year old up to what, about 9 or 10 as a blonde? It just wasn't I envisioned him to be, so it took me aback. Well, let's see how this kid's acting is. Hope he is as entertainingly as evil as David on Coronation Street.. :thumbsup2:

I can understand with the hair. But my ex-brother-in-law had been blonde haired and pin straight hair, he hit puberty and when it was done his hair was black and curly. My hair also was pretty blonde until I was about 13 and it went brown. Damn puberty LOL

I hope he is good as well. It should make for some interesting viewing. Of course, I can't wait to see how Lucy reacts when she finds out it wasn't Cindy!

I forgot about Lucy! I can't imagine her being too happy with Steven for making her believe her mum was alive but if he convinces her it was necessary to get at Ian...oh boy Ian is in for TROUBLE. I'm a little confused to why Steven would be this angry with Ian, he raised and loved him until he moved to New Zeland and Ian was crushed when he left.

Oh no. They had a big falling out. When Steven found out about Ian's affair with Janine and then told Laura and Ian made out that Steven was lying, things went down hill for them.

Steven had the whole poison pen letters going out around the square and Ian came out that he was "Cindy's son" and then Steven went to be with his real dad and decided to stay and has never really asked after Ian.

Last Christmas Pat went to NZ and Ian asked if Steven asked after them and Pat said she had told him all about Ian and the kids, eluding that Steven didn't even bother to ask how they all were.

Ian and Steven didn't leave on good terms and I think Steven is ready for some revenge for being raised by Ian and not knowing about Simon being his bio-dad.
