Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste...

a veteran who was banned by UK**** simultaneously with faceless (good to see you up and running my friend!);

a fan of West Ham United and Fullers London Pride (I am not an alcoholic, I am a drunk);

an ex-pat musician stranded on a distant shore awaiting a fair wind or a fair maiden to take me home (I'm sure I've used that one before).

I look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones.

My compliments,

TheCaptain.

great to see you Captain!

It's a couple of years since you were about last - I'm sure there's been a fair amount of debauchery in that while... haha

Welcome, Captain. I think that we have crossed message boards before. How's the life of a Rock and Roll madman been?

Well, as long as you haven't actually banned me from any of them, I warmly accept your welcome, hahaha!

And as for the madman's life, it is probably more difficult than you think, but nevertheless infinitely rewarding.

How is life in the relegation zone? Only kidding, I'm sure you have enough quality to crawl out of there, I even reckon you might finish above us. However, what do you think of the rumours that Jol is in the frame to become Sport Director at the Boleyn should he get fired by that fool Levy?

My compliments,

TheCaptain.

Captain, I just went to check your myspace page and was well impressed with the song that plays. I remember hearing a few tracks from your old band, Fat Stingrays, a few years back, but I didn't think they were as good as this by a long shot - nice one.

Sincere thanks kind sir. Indeed, your compliment weighs particularly heavily in my soul, as I know you to be one who speaks ever his honest opinion and is never swayed by politeness or convention.

As for the rest of you, I thank you most kindly for your hearty welcome, but, errrrrr, do I know you all? Perhaps you had different handles in the distant past? Or have these two long years of life on the road clouded my memory so?

Whatever, a heartfelt welcome is indeed a welcome, and I already feel quite at home. Quite so, this is on the verge of becoming embarrassing - perhaps I need my own thread, tucked away in a nice quiet corner, in the Shed possibly?

Cheers my good friends, and I raise a glass of the finest applewine that Frankfurt has to offer to you all. Vive le Couchtrippeur! Vive la Revolution!

My compliments,

TheCaptain.

I have banned you from nothing, kind sir... Life in the relegation zone is ugly, lonely and frustrating. On paper, we should be in the top 5 or so, so the frustration level has reached it's max. I hope Levy doesn't give anyone else the chance to use the superior talents of our Mr BMJ. He has taken us further than any other manager in recent memory and I think without the pressure of having to worry about his job, he would be doing a much better job...
