Cooking Question for Aja

Post by SpursFan1902 »

I tried the roasted veggies on the George Foreman grill last night and they just turned out kinda mushy. I put a little olive oil on them before putting them on the little grill and I am not sure what happened. Should I have done them in the oven maybe (remember my phobia of open fire - no grilly grilly when Marcella is not there!).

I would think if u did them under the Broiler for a few mins each side with just a brushing of oil .....That . that would be better than in the george :)

I will try it in the next few days and let u know :)

That sounds good, I will try to check it out too. The George is good for reheating, but for cooking from scratch, maybe the broiler is better.

Spurs, I don't use oil when I grill veggies on the Foreman grill for exactly this reason. The oven is probably the better idea, but sometimes it's just too bloody hot to turn it on :)
