Yep, sad but true. When I first moved back into my mother's house and right after she passed away (like I am going to pay attention to the lawn then!!), I continually got citations from the city that my lawn (translate that as "weeds and sand spurs") were too high and should be mowed, that I was not keeping my lawn to city code. Good thing they have so much time to worry about my lawn!! |
I'm on our Homeowners Association Board and one of the regulations that we have to look out for is that no lawn grass should be over a certain height. I've not bothered to check what it is. I'm not that fussy...so long as my neighbours' gardens and lawns don't have rusty cars and pro-life signs in them I'm okay. (My husband's cousin in PA lives next door to the most extreme pro-lifers I have ever heard of - they must have about 30 signs in their front garden).  |
