That is crap though that people are cheating like that, I'd guess that there's a time delay that they're exploiting.
They'll have their stats wiped soon (if it hasn't already happened), but I bet they'll be making a packet from selling hacks.
As for being number one on the Commander leaderboard, well, I would be, except there are two guys who have a FUCKING HUGE advantage over me... I'll explain:
1. They (KAIN and SKUNK_2142) own their own Battlefield 2142 servers, and I don't.
2. They started playing the game the day it was released. I started over six months later.
3. They use a script so that they can be
away from the keyboard, and their soldier will get command automatically,
every game on that server, 24 hours a day, every day, racking up more points.
Someone got so pissed off with KAIN cheating in this way, that they joined his team with a couple of friends, then laid prone shuffling along the floor in front of him to nudge him along very slightly. Using this method, they nudged him all the way to a position where he could be knifed by the other team ...then they switched teams and knifed him!
When you kill someone with a knife, you get their dog tags.
...However, the person who killed KAIN was so happy he went a step further and shared it on video!
