Big Brother "news"
The flirting begins! :biglove:
This year's Big Brother wannabes are certainly not backward in coming forward, with Shahbaz setting his sights on Richard within hours.
YMCA fan Richard had to call upon fellow housemate Lisa to be his bodyguard when Shahbaz's advances and straddling became a bit much.
Shahbaz obviously likes the look of Richard and he doesn't care who knows about it. Marching up to Richard in the kitchen, Shahbaz was a man on a flirting mission.
"Can I try your hat on Richard?" he purred. Richard gave a polite but firm no, but that only seemed to encourage the flirt in Shahbaz.
Richard continued to bat off his housemates advances but to no avail. Cowering in the kitchen, Richard asked: "Don't you want to get to know the other housemates?" Lisa and Pete jumped to Richard's defence giving Shahbaz a friendly warning to leave Richard alone.

Language campaigners and even the Conservative Party hit out at the show producers for the language ban. Housemate Glyn was called to the diary room yesterday and banned from speaking Welsh. Glyn protested: "But it's a British language!"
A Stern voice with an English accent replied: "It's not English and could be considered to be talking in code."
Glyn said in his audition for the programme that he feels strongly all Welsh people should speak the language.
Conservative Party in Wales spokeswoman Lisa Francis said: "It is nothing short of an insult to the people of Wales. Welsh and English have equal status in law and the housemates have every right to speak in either of Wales's national languages."
Big Brother may now have decided to use subtitles to get around the problem of using the Welsh Language in the house.
So diolch yn fawr I iawn, hwyl (thank you very much and goodbye)

Big Brother contestant Shahbaz has left the building. He walked out of the BB house yesterday evening after concern grew following his suicide threat.
In a statement, a show spokeswoman said: "Shahbaz has decided to leave the Big Brother house. He was unhappy and finding it increasingly difficult to integrate within the group dynamic of this year's housemates.
"Of course, all housemates are free to leave at any time as they have in past years."
The 37-year-old Glaswegian had concerned mental health charities with his erratic behaviour. He was reportedly on 'suicide watch' after threatening to kill himself on the show.
Yesterday we asked whether the safeguards in place on the show robust enough to cope with someone who is, or purports to be, suicidal?
After a huge row with fellow housemates and several episodes of bizarre behaviour Shahbaz told housemates: "I'm a dead man walking. I came to die on this programme, I'm going to prove it."
A Channel 4 spokeswoman for the show said: "As always, the welfare of all the housemates is of utmost importance to us. Housemates are intensively screened by professionals to ensure they are psychologically strong enough to cope with their experiences.
"During their time in the house, housemates are monitored 24 hours a day and psychologists are also on hand to talk through any concerns they may have. Big Brother also encourages housemates to try and resolve any issues between them, should that be possible," she added.
But it is unclear whether Shahbaz had been assessed by a psychologist since threatening to kill himself or whether he was getting any additional support, other than that offered to every housemate. The spokeswoman said he was being talked to "as are the other housemates" and being watched constantly "as with all the others".
Shahbaz half-heartedly told Big Brother he wanted to quit the house at the weekend but viewers were left with the impression that he had been told he couldn't. However the show's spokeswoman says housemates are at liberty to leave whenever they want, it's just that contestants often say they want to leave but usually resolve the dilemma themselves without quitting.
Dr Andrew McCulloch, the chief executive of the Mental Health Foundation - which helps people survive, recover from and prevent mental health problems - yesterday wrote to the Channel 4 director of television programming, Kevin Lygo, outlining in the strongest terms the charity's opposition to the treatment of mental health issues on Big Brother.
Dr McCulloch believes the reality TV show is reinforcing negative stereotypes of people with mental illness, feeding discrimination and making sufferers a "laughing stock" while having little regard for the health of the contestants.
And the Samaritans said that keeping a psychologically unstable person on the show for the purpose of entertainment is irresponsible.
While being unable to comment on Shahbaz, a spokeswoman for the charity said it was "inappropriate to use someone who may be psychologically unwell as a form of entertainment".
Earlier this year mental health charities called for stricter guidelines governing reality TV amid concerns that Celebrity Big Brother contestant Michael Barrymore was risking his psychological wellbeing.
Shahbaz may have been hamming it up for the cameras, but there's a real chance he may be extremely troubled.
Yesterday we asked whether Should Endemol and Channel 4 err on the side of caution and remove him for the sake of his health, or will Big Brother wait until someone harms themselves live on TV before it takes action? It is probably best all round, not least for Shahbaz, that he has left the show of his own accord.
-------------------------------
I suspect Channel 4 might end up getting into real trouble this year and maybe risk having the programme pulled off the air if they continue to push for new lows just to top what they did the year before and get bigger ratings.

Dawn has made good her promise to leave the Big Brother house, taking her final stroll into the Diary Room at midday.
It had not been the most sociable of mornings to send her on her way, since she was the only housemate to rise before midday. She spent her final two hours pacing around the bedroom, exercising and dancing to herself before her roommates finally awoke.
"Just be nice to anyone who comes in," Dawn told the others as she was called to the Diary Room and said farewell. "You take care of yourself," Richard called after her, as Nikki thanked her for "everything".
Once she had gone, the housemates wasted little time in discussing her departure. "I don't even understand why she's going," said Grace.

So she has gone then - what an annoyance... I was hoping my pic of her as Medusa would have had a longer shelf-life!

George Michael condemns Big Brother housemates
George Michael condemns Big Brother housemates

George Michael yesterday launched an astonishing attack on the Big Brother housemates.
The singer branded the inhabitants of Channel Four's live TV show as a "group of people who must be Special Needs or something."
He added: "They are a bunch of t......"
His outburst came despite one of the BB7 housemates, Peter, 24, being afflicted by Tourette's Syndrome.
The latest BB has been criticised for allowing housemate Shahbaz to suffer inside while having a breakdown, which led to him walking out.
The tension on the show increased when another housemate Dawn was been booted out after it emerged that she was breaking the rules of the show.
The pop star, whose latest tour dates have become oneof the fastest selling ever, said he had tried hard not to tune in regularly to the 24-hour show.
But he said eventually one housemate would become such a "freak" that he could not resist watching as the weeks passed on.
Michael, 41, revealed he was slightly miffed to hear a song by Madonna being played by BBC One FM presenter Jo Wiley as he sat in the studio waiting to be interviewed.
He said he had received a letter the day before informing him that his single would not be played on the station "for the forseeable future".
He took it to mean that this was because of his age, yet Madonna is 47 years old.
Wiley played his new single and afterwards George told Radio One: "What a geriatric old bit of rubbish that was."
He said he had reached a stage in his life when he was at his happiest being "an out gay" and that he felt for other young men, particicularly those from ethnic minorities, who could not come out.
He said the recent baby shower at his London home for Geri Halliwell, who had a daughter called Bluebell, had been the idea of his partner Kenny Goss.
"It was a very American thing to do, but then Kenny is American," he added.

George Michael is a pathetic twat. He's no right to criticize others when he's nothing but a moronic f*ck up himself.
If he finds BB so off putting he shouldn't watch, and I'm sure none of the current housemates will turn out to be half the loser he is now.
As far as him putting Madonna down well he's just a jealous queen. She's only 5 years older than him so I dunno what he's on about with the geriatric shite. I'm shocked anyone would want to see that boring bumblef*ck since he probably does everyone elses songs or something from when he was popular.....like erm 30 yrs back maybe? I'd rather watch a dog take a shit in the park to be honest.
He should stfu and go have another nap in his car in a hazed out stupor.

BIG BROTHER'S DAWN: I WAS KIDNAPPED
SHOCK CLAIM AS VIEWERS AXE CONTESTANT

No 3 Dawn's fury as she warns BB chief that two housemates are suicide risk
By Stewart Maclean
BIG Brother reject Dawn Black yesterday warned she wants TV bosses to be charged with kidnap.
Just hours before Bonnie was evicted, Dawn, 38, claimed Channel 4 chiefs refused to let her quit and kept her in the house for a whole day.
Last night, viewers saw her dramatic exit from the show amid claims she was evicted for breaching the show's rules.
But yesterday, she threatened to call in police to probe her kidnap claims.
The yoga instructor also dubbed the show "dangerously off the rails" and claimed two of the remaining housemates were potentially suicidal.
Dawn said: "They held me there against my will for nearly 24 hours before finally chucking me out. It was like being in jail, except with them mocking me all the time and refusing to listen to me. I'm furious.
"I'm thinking of what to do about it, but one option is to press charges for false imprisonment because that's what they did.
"When you join the show they say you can leave at any time but they literally locked me into that house.
"If anyone else did that they'd be prosecuted for kidnap so I might press charges."
Viewers last night saw producers call her into the Diary Room and order her to leave the house after she told fellow housemates she had received a secret code from her sister.
Dawn admitted her sister Jo had passed her message - but said it was simply to tell her to calm down and leave the show.
She said: "I told my sister before I went on that if she wanted me to leave the show she should call up and tell me someone in the family was ill.
"She had been watching me on the live channel and had seen me begging in the Diary Room to leave the house, and she could see I was getting more and more stressed.
"That's when she rang up and left the message. As soon as I got that, it strengthened my urge to leave."
Fiery Dawn - who would have faced eviction last night if she hadn't left the show -said: "I asked again and again to leave but they wouldn't accept I wanted to go.
"They were obviously worried because Shahbaz had quit and the show was in trouble.
"Then I heard giggling in the background. I agreed to go to bed and said I would try and leave the next day but then they locked the bedroom door in case I tried to escape. It was outrageous."
She went on: "It was just pathetic when they said I was being evicted for cheating. How can you sack someone who's already resigned? That's just stupid.
"This series is just too silly for words now, and the producers are being totally irresponsible playing with people's lives by putting them on the programme when they're not mentally stable.
"Shahbaz has obviously got mental problems. He needs medical and psychological help.
"I worry about Nikki and Lea too. They are both lovely girls but they have problems and they're not stable. And I want Bonnie out as soon as possible because she's cracking up in there completely.
"These people can't function properly in the outside world so it's ridiculous to put them on the show.
"I can see dangerous patterns of behaviour in some of the housemates this year.
"I don't like seeing people being used. I'm strong enough to cope with Big Brother's bullying but some of these people aren't.
"If one of them comes out and kills themselves the producers will have blood on their hands. But as long as they get their ratings they don't care."
Dawn was branded "smelly" by housemate Nikki for refusing to shower.
But she said: "I've seen how being on the show can ruin your career, and that's why I didn't want to shower naked, because I work with children."
Now she has refused to appear on spin-off show Big Brother's Little Brother, despite being warned she would be in breach of contract.
She said: "I'd rather go to jail for breaching it than deal with those people."
A BB spokesman yesterday countered Dawn's earlier claims that she had not been allowed to get her asthma inhalers out of her case.
He added: "Dawn was permitted to take four inhalers into the house in her overnight bag."
They were not available for comment on the kidnap claims.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I know of at least one forum in which Dawn would be classified as a DAW: "Desperate Attention-seeking Whore". A bit harsh, yes, but claims of kidnapping? What did she think she was signing up for? "The Good-Morning-Happy-Day-Dawn-Show"?
Whatever, Dawn.....get over it....it's only television.............
Again, just my 2p..............
Cheers,
Kez

I reckon she's got a great case for charging them with kidnap. In fact, I hope she does and the whole programme is brought to court where the producers become the ones under the microscope. That would tickle my fancy and no doubt!
Locking someone up is locking someone up, no matter what they might have signed up for.

What really gets me is that some of the contestants go on the show not expecting what was going to happen. The first year aside, everyone knows what happens. They know they are being incarcerated. They know that food is budgeted. They know they will be with strange people. They all know the rules.
Some of the outbursts from Shabaz, Nikki, Dawn just make me think "well why the **** did you sign up for the show?"
As for kidnap. She can try. I am sure the BB lawyers have it already contractually handled.
What does seem very wrong to me this year is that they appear to have picked a few strong characters with a larger number of "mentally unbalanced" characters. It adds spice - but is it right?

Good on Dawn if she does sue them. She was asking to leave the day before and they did made her stay overnight. Granted she may of entered the Big Brother house with her own agenda and when it wasn't working out and she found it unacceptable to remain there any longer without her clothes, she then wanted to go. But Channel 4, having already lost one housemate that walked out, wanted to force Dawn out themselves I think.
This is a mess for Channel 4 because it shows a breakdown in their audition and screening process. It seems like this year they are hitting rock bottom and I wonder how bad it will get. The celeb versions can be fun to watch but if I'm being honest, the ordinary stuff has become the worst kind of crap. I hope they are given some entertaining tasks to do soon because I think the boredom is already starting to set in with some of the housemates.

BB VERY AFRAID HOUSE-MATES!
28 May 2006
AFTER a sensational week of terrific turbulence, I have terrifying news. Here are the seven most chilling words in Big Brother history. Shahbaz: "I have asked to go back in!" Yep, the mincing Muslim is begging bosses to let him wreak his own unique form of havoc all over again.
When the grotesque Glaswegian revealed his shocking secret, horrified BB Big Mouth host Russell Brand screamed : "I don't think that's a good idea!" But Russ is wrong. The return of Shahbaz would be the icing on the cake. Can you imagine the look on the faces of the hapless housemates when the gay they loved to hate pranced back to make their lives a misery? Come on, Channel 4 - make it happen!
I'm sick to death of all this crap about whether or not people are suitable to be locked up in TV's house of horrors. Balls to that. We all know the idiots who volunteer for this nonsense are being sacrificed on the altar of public entertainment... and so do they. So bring Shahbaz on - and let's get ready to rumble! Unsurprisingly, after the astonishing storms that preceded it, Friday's eviction special was something of an anti-climax.
Booted out for being disastrously dull, boring Bonneh Holt insisted that she'd left her "personaliteh" in the suitcase she was never allowed to see. But the gormless girl with the world's silliest accent didn't have a personality. You need a brain to have a personality. "I'm not thick," she said, continuing the tissue of lies that began on her audition tape when she hilariously claimed: "I'm good looking, I'm funny and I'm sexy."
Desperate Davina McCall did her best to whip the crowd into a frenzy - pretending that she didn't want them to boo the first official evictee. But the sad truth was that even the placard-waving lynch mob waiting outside the compound couldn't really have cared less.
When she emerged from the house, Bonneh, classy as ever, gave everyone the V-sign. But, after a landslide 78 per cent of fed-up viewers voted her into the oblivion she so richly deserves, Dumbo was greeted by a tidal wave of apathy.
"One great friend you made in there was Lea," declared Davina as she exercised the interviewing skills she honed on her fabulously successful BBC chat show, "What did you like about her?" "Her t*ts," said Bonnie.
Well, all right, she didn't say that. But there's nothing else interesting about the frightful old porno bat so let's move on. Continuing her intellectual probing, McCall pointed out that Bonnie had failed in her ambition to stage "a bare wank off". "What's a bare wk off?" asked the hopeless host, "Is it rude?" Of course not, Davina. Perish the thought.
Bonneh's demise followed the extraordinary exit of A-grade weirdo Dawn who couldn't seem to understand she'd broken the rules. "Oh shut up," she repeated 500 times like a little schoolgirl caught cheating as Big Brother explained that her ridiculously transparent Dawn Vinci Code was simply not on.
"But you gave me the message," wailed this big old bird after her sister's fake "I'm sick" missive had tipped her off that the public quite rightly hated her. Yeah Dawn - but that doesn't mean that Big Brother was in on your stupid scheme. You're even dumber than you look. Now get back to your high-flying career as an "exercise scientist" (what the hell is that?)
Other highlights so far...
Preposterous peroxide porn "star" Lea's breathtakingly unsexy lap dance for poor little virgin Glyn. "I've got a boner," he shrieked. "It's like something you have in your dreams." And we know what sort of dreams they are, don't we, Glyn?
Alleged lady killers Mikey and Sezer's pathetically adolescent attempts to seduce incredibly unposh Grace-less and vacuous Welsh valley girl Imogen.
And my hero George Michael for this succinct assessment of BB7's gang of fools : "They're a bunch of tossers!"
Couldn 't have put it better myself.

"BULLY" SEZER BEGGED ME FOR SEX
By Rachel Richardson
A SINGER has revealed how BB's Sezer pestered her for sex?then tormented her for months when she turned down his creepy advances. The cocky city trader hounded Shereen Guerin with late-night phone calls and nuisance emails after she refused to sleep with him at an ?800-a-night London hotel. He also posted intimate photographs of her on the internet and even set up a website featuring the shots.
Last night, Shereen, 24, a member of glamour group Mrs Robinson, raged: "He will try to pressurise Imogen for sex in the house, just like he tried with me."
Her nightmare began after they met in a London nightclub and swapped contact details. Two months later she was horrified when she visited him in the city and he made an indecent proposal. Shereen said: "I had only been in his office for a few minutes when he offered me ?50 to take off my top. There was an awkward silence and he appeared quite embarrassed when I didn't find his sick comment funny."
But Sezer?who was arrested by police in 2004 for alleged date rape, in an investigation that was dropped for lack of evidence? talked her round and later took her to the posh Sanderson Hotel. They dined in the courtyard with champagne cocktails, but as midnight approached Shereen panicked about how she was going to get home to Essex so Sezer took a suite in the hotel.
She said: "As I walked in and saw the double bed I felt I hadn't made the right decision. Sezer's attitude changed and he became much more flirty."
Shereen had a shower and slipped into a white bathrobe. She revealed: "I quickly became aware that I had got myself into a bit of a situation and I was really nervous that Sezer thought that I was up for having sex. The opposite was true?I would never sleep around behind a boyfriend's back."
But she said Sezer kept trying his luck and she kept putting him off. "I tried to distract him with a disposable camera that was in the mini bar," she said. "He took about five pictures of me in my robe and a couple of us together. He moved in for a kiss and took a picture while he pecked me on the lips. He carried on begging me for sex for nearly an hour, even though I moved away from him."
Eventually the couple fell asleep at opposite ends of the bed and left the hotel together early next day on friendly terms. A few days later he phoned to say he'd had the film developed and flooded Shereen with copies of the photos over the internet.
She said: "They looked so seedy and it looked like we had been much more intimate than we had, especially the picture where he was kissing me. After the second day I stopped replying to his messages, but he carried on sending the pictures every day for four weeks. It was like he was bullying me. At weekends he would call me late at night. I never answered, so he would leave messages saying ?I want to meet up with you.'
In November, 2003, four months after their hotel stay, he logged onto the London clubbing website Sintillate's forum, that he knew Shereen and her friends used, and posted the pictures. The website administrators took the pictures down at Shereen's request, but Sezer re-posted them time and time again over a week. He was stopped when the forum closed, but Shereen said: "Then he created a fake profile of me on a chat site. He put the hotel pictures on there and used nasty comments to describe me. Eventually at the beginning of 2004 he took the site down and stopped calling."
But Sezer's brother Ozer said: "I went out clubbing with the two of them a couple of times and she was all over him. He would never pester a girl, he doesn't need to because there are always girls all around him."
Shereen is giving the fee for this interview to the Army Benevolent Fund.

She went to a room in a hotel with him, took a shower, gave him a camera to take pics and now she's saying that he was some kind of creep because he thought his luck was in? hahaha, what a daft slag!
