Thanks Luke for the doc.

With 17000 new soldiers in the Persian Gulf, one can only assume that there will another war.
Having knowledge about the Iranian history and their culture, I can confidently tell you that this war will be much different than the Iraqi war. Even though Iranians will not be able to defeat U.S, but they will inflict a much heavier casualty to the Americans. As GG says, you'll be looking at Zulu war but without the happy ending.
Let's not forget that even the Israeli Army analysts were puzzeled about the Iranian resistance in the 8 year war against Iraq, despite all the latest modern weaponry Iraqies were provided by the West.

I just hope that it never comes to war but pessimism overrides my optimism.
