I'm in the process of making a site for some bikers and I came across these pics of a funeral in Australia. Looks quite the sendoff...

The 1% that your mother warned you about. Really.

Hell's Angels and Bandito's - not a good mix. They are both pretty big in Oz and are always at each other's throats.

1% started in London... in & around Dalston.

It spread to the hells angels in the UK who were 13% (13 percenters)... some wear 1% some 13%.. it soon spread across the world, if your in the culture your one or the other, either way it's OK, ust don't try & mix with eachother in public.

I have to say from knowledge that the "H A world wide" prefer 13% & those who deem themselves to be 1% are more nomadic or 'outside / rebel' groups that do not agree with the HA.. hence HA being 13% & these guys being 1%.

Faceless are you doing a site for the 'Blues' ???
I attended a funeral for one of the blues back in the 90's.

(yet another facet of DV8... I was part of the culture, it takes all kind to make up the world)

I'm miffed that at such a funeral that all the photos showing member with 'Full colors' were all 'PROSPECTS' or as they have in OZ 'probationers'...
(yes I see faces in the rest of the shots but not with FULL COLORS on their backs)

Something like this in the UK you'd see a mixture of "All England", "Windsor chapter"(to which I was affiliated) & the "Scottish Blues" together & the prospects would not be seen, or at least if so not showing their prospect colors... no matter what part of the 'set' they were from, all would be represented by full members.

Of course if it was an 'outlaw' group as this is showing, then it would be a mixture of outlaw full members & from several 'groups'... again prospects are just that & thus would not be 'representing' colors at such an event (not that I deem a funeral to be an event as such... ya' know what I mean I hope).

Anyways...

Nice turn out for the guy / gal....
I / we should be so lucky to have as many show up to our last moments before we are cremated or stuck 6 feet under ground....

==============================================================

We are all members of families outside our own bloodline...

We can have many brothers or sisters by association without the need for parental DNA...

Brothers & sisters who ride may not be blood by birth but are blood by spirit.

I see much of the same thing in a small but few numbers of 'forums' such as this one where we share not only downloads, ideas & news but also we share parts of our lives...

We are not that dif' from the 'Outlaw' bikers, the HA or any other organized group...
As we have ideals that we live by, we have a willing to share & support each other here & a want to understand each other.
