Stephen Green is a bigot

Post by popinjay »

Listening to today's show and I can't believe George brought Stephen Green onto the show. A quick look over Green's record shows what a hateful man he is, he's an anti-homosexual campaigner (and was arrested for homophobia), thinks no other religions should be taught in our schools, thinks people should be arrested for blasphemy, and for working on Sundays. He's an insane anti-gay bigot.

...then George went on to slam Richard Dawkins. Give me Dawkins over Green anyday.

I thought it had to be - his assertions about Jesus and being "God fearing" made my flesh crawl.

I wonder if George knew about that. I wouldn't have thought he'd have agreed so much with the guy if he knew he was a homophobic protestor.

I would argue that if he didn't know he SHOULD have, the guy hardly keeps a low profile. Remember the bullshit over Jerry Springer the Opera (great musical by the way) it was him and his group that organised the ridiculous protests. The guy isn't just trying to 'get christian voices heard' as he likes to say he is clearly a full on theocrat who believes we should live by god's law (whatever that means).
