Celebrity Big Brother contestants Jade Goody and George Galloway are to take part in a public debate to discuss the future of reality TV. In front of an audience of media journalists and members of the public, the pair will join Reverend Richard Moy, ITV executive Layla Smith and Big Brother producer Tim Hincks in the 'Reality TV: The New Reality?' event being held at the Purcell Room in London's Southbank Centre next Tuesday evening.
Chaired by broadcaster and journalist Matthew Wright, the panel will discuss the effect of reality TV on society as a whole, with the audience invited to pitch new reality TV ideas to the organisers, independent production company Amaze TV. Event producer Remy Blumenfeld, from Amaze TV, said: "Reality TV is a modern phenomena and its popularity has grown enormously since 2000. This timely debate will discuss the past, present and future of this captivating and controversial genre."
Tickets to the event are £5 and can be booked online at www.southbankcentre.co.uk or by calling the box office on 0871 663 2500.
