talkSPORT show going to two nights a week

Post by faceless »

So what's your opinion on the show being cut back to two nights a week? Personally I think it's a good idea as 8 hours is a lot to listen to over a weekend. I'm guessing this might have something to do with the TV show Galloway's mentioned recently...

Maybe it’s just me, but he’s reply as to an explanation to this was something along the lines of “in mutual consent”, which is not the same as saying “Due to new/other commitments, etc.” I can’t help feeling that giving up airtime is something GG would willingly do, especially as he is always dropping hints that he would like to do an everyday slot !

I missed the bit where he gave that explanation - that puts a different light on it for sure

Maybe we should e-mail TalkSport to tell them how much we would miss GG on Sunday

I got the impression (call it a hunch) that he's freeing up some time for a regular TV bit. He mentioned something about a "News at Night" (I think) on Sunday's show. (It might've been Saturday's show.)

from what ive seen GG wants to do as many shifts as possible.
So something must be wrong. The sunday show had the highest ratings. Right?

So is it the Sunday show that's going? I must admit, I enjoy the three hour shows more. What with all of the ads and news and sport, it doesn't leave much time to get a really good debate going over just two hours.

I think talkSPORT has it in for him. First they moved him to a later timeslot on Saturday, now they're axing his Sunday show.
