I've been banned from untold sites in my time for daring to speak my opinion, which was partly the reason I set up this place, but as long as you're enjoying yourself you'll be fine here. I can change your user name if you like - identifying someone solely by their politics isn't really what we're about.scottish respect wrote:Hi, I'm another of the Galloway levy, I'll try and justify my downloads with opinions (of which I have plenty I suppose). Maybe this place will fill the gap left in my life left by being banned from the Scottish Socialist Youth forum for supporting Tommy Sheridan

Faceless you read my mind!!!!!! I was wondering whether to PM you (if I could) or post here or start a thread asking for a change of name. When I first took this name i really meant something as I was a RESPECT member in Scotland, where it doesn't exist, inspired by the Americans who joined after the Senate. This really annoyed the SSY, even though I was also a member of the SSP. But now I've joined the Scottish diaspora in London, while remaining active in Scotland's new socialist party, Solidarity, so maybe I should be english_solidarity! But I actually thought of a much better name shortly after sending my email; can I be called Harry Perkins, after the heroic socialist PM in "A Very British Coup"? I know its still political, but its also a cultural referance and should be intriguing, at least to people who haven't read me spilling the beans here!
