Agreed.Kezza wrote:You just gotta wonder: does Britney have ANYONE in her life who says, "Hey, you got to stop what you're doing, examine your choices and chill out," OR how about (just plain and simple), "NO, Britney. The answer is NO." Apparently not.

Whatever the reason for her doing this is a mystery, but this is a girl that has grown up since around the age of 11 in showbiz. Since she was 15/16 she has been made a role model to hundreds of thousands and had her every move watched and scrutinised. I think you are very naive in saying she should grow up. IMO she is suffeirng from mental health issues. This has been the case for years not just the past few months. There have too many incidents to mention. Don't judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. I personally don't think i could handle all that pressure. Others may like to think they can but history has shown that many cant.
You make it sound so easy just to walk into rehab and hey presto you're fixed. You're attitude is typical of societys attitude towards the demise of celebritys these days. We think cos they are rich and famous that all is well or all should be well. We never think of the pressures, the strains, the downfalls and why....................cos she is Britney f**kin Spears. She MUST be happy cos she's living the dream.
I wish the girl all the best, but may i add that not for one minute did i say she should be forcefully restrained and helped. I merely said i hope she gets the help she needs. I still stand by that statement.
I also never said I thought she was happy. I never said her money or fame brought her happiness. Her actions prove to me that she is a very unhappy individual and has been that way for years. However, I do not think she suffers from mental illness, (unless you call "I'm a child star and can't handle the pressure" a mental illness) but I'm not a doctor. Being unhappy is not a mental illness in my opinion. Rebellion, as you say, is not a mental illness. It is an act of youth (typically...there are many "grown-ups" who rebel as well).
But again, if she wants to be happy it is up to HER to get happy.
And I agree with you...I do hope she gets the help she needs. However, she has to WANT it was my point. I think at this point, she is happy with the attention she is getting.
Just like IrishMafia we shall have to agree to disagree on this matter, but i'm right.

I think you'll find all the proof you need there
As for Kezza you make some good points. Its sad to think that someone who is that famous has absolutely no-one to turn to for help.

Nothing more for me to reply to what she said anyway. I don't agree with her, but i respect her opinion. So no point in carrying on the debate and force her round in a dictator style fashion is there.IRiSHMaFIA wrote:Ah now what gave you that idea? But i do promise plenty of half arsed off the cuff that make no sense at all. Some may think thats happened already (that was covering my arse for any smart arses who wanted a quick put down at my expenses.
