I just tuned into talkSPORT to hear that Galloway's not presenting a show tonight as he's in Venezuela... a good enough excuse really...

Yea, I was really looking forward to hear him speaking from Caracas.

Actually he's on right now - via telephone - so I'm recording it (hopefully). If no one else has a copy of it I'll upload it somewhere after the show

Incidentally, in this audio, George says "I have a 2 year old daughter". I'm pretty sure he meant to say granddaughter, and his only daughter is 25 years old and is called Lucy, but does anyone know differently? It confuzzled me!

that's it included as a direct download in the members section - it's an excellent quality recording btw. If you ever want to take up capping the show it's good to know there's someone who knows what they're doing... how did you record it?

I noticed that slip about his "daughter" a minute ago but it did just seem a simple mistake.

I recorded the show using Roxio Creator 6, which basically just records whatever is playing through your speakers. The quality is good, but of course it is also a large file size, which bugs me since my ISP isn't very fast. The absolute lowest Roxio will save audio at is 64kbps, and when you consider that talksport only streams at about 32kbps, it's really an overkill recording technique!

It's not always overkill as your soundcard is doing a conversion then putting out what can be a more enhanced sound and your final result really doesn't sound like a 32kb/s recording so something's working!

You might want to try getting Windows Media Encoder (it's free) which will record from the same source and allows you to record at any level you like.

Funny you should ask that, because I was wondering what she looks like, too.

I think GG is very protective of his "lovely wee Lucy", though, so a picture would be pretty hard to find. She sits by his side most nights that he does his talkshows and she's been with him on a lot of rallies, too. She was there when he was famously locked in a room with a bunch of Islamist extremists who were threatening to hang him for encouraging Muslims to vote, but I have never seen her.

Incidentally, I have a bit of a crush on George and his daughter is older than me!!
