Welcome iPhone

Post by Skylace »

iPhone is here. And it's called iPhone.

Apple's much-ballyhooed phone will run on the Singular network, and runs a cut-down version of OS X,

The phone is 1.16 cm thick and has a 3.5" widescreen touchscreen display with multi-touch support, 8GB of onboard RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a 2 megapixel camera.

Networking: quadband GSM radio with EDGE, beginning with subsidy contracts through Cingular.

Here's the super part: it's running a version of OS X, meaning, hopefully, that countless software packages can be installed on it (VoIP, Skype, etc.)

hmm now that sounds interesting for sure.

At first I got a bit confused because I'm constantly seeing an ad on tv for IPhone, but it's a service like cheaper rates where some blonde knocks on the tv screen to wake you up and another guy that looks like a martian talks and gives this goofy smile that sends chills up me spine as it's so odd lol

The one thing I hate about mobile services is their software options. Some you have to pay loads for, and if this more universal they'd be a mile ahead the others.

Many phones on the market have all those abilities & more already....

As for running skype... any 'smart phone' can run it...
