What's the plan, Faceless?

Christmas George...
I noticed that George is going to be on TalkSport a heck of a lot over the Christmas week and I was wondering how many of those shows are going to be recorded and posted here. I don't want to miss any of them but I'm definitely not going to be able to catch them all live.

Sounds good.
I can try and capture some of them if you let me know which ones you won't be able to get - the problem I have is that my only way to do it is to capture the stream with Roxio Creator 6, which seems unable to save small files.
We could try this if you like, and I can send you a ginormous file that you can somehow optimise?

I just looked at this piece of software called "Mini Stream Ripper" and it seems to be perfect. You can get it here:nekokate wrote:Sounds good.

You put in the stream information, setup the recording preferences and away you go. I recommend you put it to 48k for optimum quality. Once you've got the file ready you can upload it to www.sendspace.com (free, and no registration) and then post the link here that you get...

I just got an email from the guy who runs the official site saying that he definitely didn't get it either... looks like we might be lucky to get the show at this rate.nekokate wrote:I am so sorry about this, faceless. I said that I'd try to record all the morning shows this week, and the only one I managed to miss was the only one that we needed
Ah well - the daytime shows aren't as much fun if you ask me anyway.
Most of the videos and audio he had on there were just taken straight from the archive here and reuploaded, and I think he goes to the same sources as I've checked for new stuff. You never know though...nekokate wrote:There's a user on YouTube called EvilGoblin who has a massive collection of Galloway vids and audio - he might have got it.
seems like it's gonna be "the missing show" after all... I'm sure there will be someone out there at some point who'll realise they've got something that a lot of people want and get it released. I'm pretty sure also that talksport offer a CD backup service of shows, but the last time I looked (months ago) it was something like 50 quid for each hour, so that's unlikely...nekokate wrote:D'oh!!
