And what if you're not married, don't have a mother and no other female relatives?

Never heard of launderettes?Skylace wrote:And what if you're not married, don't have a mother and no other female relatives?
Re: Washing instructions
Of course, but that would still mean doing it here. Because most places in this area you bring the laundry in and do it yourself. They don't do it for you.Bat wrote:Never heard of launderettes?Skylace wrote:And what if you're not married, don't have a mother and no other female relatives?

Every laundry I have ever been to in UK has had a "service wash" where they do it for you. Some of them even iron your shirts.Skylace wrote:Of course, but that would still mean doing it here. I don't know how anyone could give their undergarments to a stranger to wash. I'd feel creeped out
Re: Washing instructions
I don't think I would get "creeped out" about the little old granny who does my washing in my local laundry (BTW this all happens when I go to work in London for a few months and there is no machine in the place where I live)IRiSHMaFIA wrote:I always thought it was a typical service.Bat wrote:Every laundry I have ever been to in UK has had a "service wash" where they do it for you. A little old granny isn't so bad, but being a woman, I'd not want to give my knickers to some man to wash for me lolBat wrote:I don't think I would get "creeped out" about the little old granny who does my washing in my local laundry (BTW this all happens when I go to work in London for a few months and there is no machine in the place where I live)IRiSHMaFIA wrote:I always thought it was a typical service.Bat wrote:Every laundry I have ever been to in UK has had a "service wash" where they do it for you.
