Corrie - Charlie to go with a bang! (spoiler)

Coronation Street' super-bitch Tracy Barlow will be the prime suspect in the upcoming Charlie Stubbs murder mystery. Over the coming months viewers will see the scheming character, played by actress Kate Ford, come up with a plot of how she can kill the two-timing builder. Tracy will be left full of hate for her live-in lover after she catches him cheating on her with a stunning mystery blonde. The brunette will see Charlie, 39-year-old actor Bill Ward, kissing the girl on her doorstep before following her inside.

Afterwards, an enraged Tracy will be seen telling mum Deirdre: "I'll kill him. I will, I mean it. On my daughter's life I'm gonna kill him."

Actor Bill Ward has decided to quit the popular soap after three years playing Charlie to pursue other roles and rather than leave the door open for a return Bill has asked bosses to make his exit grizzly and spectacular. Although Tracy is the favourite to bump off the builder, Charlie is not short of enemies and producers will leave fans guessing as to who is responsible for his death.

A source said: "Tracy will emerge as the most likely candidate to have blood on her hands."
