It is making me laugh I must say but I do agree with you, it's so far fetched and out of left field.

It would be nice, though, if they gave Fatboy more of a dramatic storyline, because I suspect he can do so much more than be the comic relief. (I thought that when he married / divorced that girl who was deported they would change his character a bit).

To be fair, there were a couple of cute moments, but if I have to actually see them in bed, well, I just don't know.....I might have to switch to Coronation Street.

Aww...I thought they were cute together. Denise deserves some happiness and if it is a fit, 20 something Fatboy, well then so be it. And the scenes with Fatboy practicing talking to Denise were so telling. There really is a non street talking Arthur under that Fatboy. Do I want it long term, no, but for a little distraction to help both of them to move on: to get Denise back out into the world and help Fatboy grow up a little, well then sure!

I do think it will be good for them both and hopefully have some growth for both characters. But I don't see it long term as well. After all this isn't our first May December relationship with an older woman at the helm
