I'm already sick of the lock out............but mostly sick of Gary Bettman!

Somehow I missed this....sorry, eefan. I, too, wish the pox on Mr. Bettman. He has brought so much woe and misery on our NHL, that he should be drawn and quartered. 5 years ago the players signed the CBA that the owners and the NHL wanted and now it is no good anymore? In addition to the ownership, I hold the players agents responsible for this mess. Who is their right mind signs a player to such crazy long contracts for such ridiculous amounts?? You could pay off national debts with some of those contracts!! Greedy bastards....

I'm not against people with talent getting well paid for that talent, but you're right......some of those contracts are outrageous. I believe that many of those players just want to play hockey, but get pressured into those contracts by greedy agents, etc.

Got it, thanks. I've actually been on there before.... They show a lot of hockey fights on there, and my friends son is in some videos (junior A).

Doesn't look like there is any movement. I have it set up with the Lightning that I get 5% back and the money that I paid for each game that is canceled goes to paying for next season. I don't want to get a full refund even if the the season goes to shite as they are losing money on me. I have had my seats for so long that I am paying about half of what they could get now. Don't want to make the seat available so that they can make more money!

I'm hoping to get out to some OHL games this season, but its difficult to get tickets at times. Still, I'm hoping that junior hokey will get a boost from all this lockout nonsense.

Damn Gary Bettman.

If it means that they will sort this out once and for all and we NEVER have to go thru this again, then take the whole season, just make sure it is fixed!

So far the only people I have seen in Lightning jerseys are the US Womens Gymnastic team...why, you ask? I have no effin' idea, but there it was, posted on FB. Maddening...
