Last time this happened, he said he'd start an online radio show to take its place. As a former producer for an internet station I'm not sure that he realises how much of a big step down that would be.

The costs are very low but its beneath him to be broadcasting to a hundred people and using ghetto equipment like Skype for phone-ins.

Last time it happened wasn't it to do with the world cup (football) ?

There are two fiasco's happening this summer, one in London, the other in Poland and Ukraine.

Maybe it's tied in with these ..

The weekly talkSPORT shows here get a pretty consistent 700 downloads. Also, the PressTV shows get more views from here than from the PressTV site itself. But that's by the by...

Bearing in mind this is a backwater that doesn't get much direct web publicity, I reckon GG could get close to 10000 hits for a weekly show; if it was promoted on his facebook page and linked properly via itunes.

To All My Friends: forgive my silence over Talksport, it's not good news, I'm not yet able to say more. I will be on air as usual on Friday at 10pm. Thanks for caring...

With GG not being on tonight, I'm guessing that last week's show might well have been the last edition.

I think so. Last night I first tried 5 live, don't like Nolan, never really did. Then radio 4 had a repeat of something that I heard in the week, radio 1 had some paul oakenfold lounge techno ;)~ can't remember what radio 2 had, so I settled for radio 3.
If anyone has any good alternative friday night listening, don't keep it to yourself ...

Need a volunteer? I could use a good workout :slap:

How about Radio Galloway/Sheridan, I 'll donate a few quid in payPal to make that happen
