We won again last night against the Flames....bit dicy for a bit, but Kessel had another good game and pulled us through.

Yeah...that being the thunder thing...uh, not so much. We lost 7-4 to those crappy cats. We have some definite defense problems...a key injury, a player let go for absolutely nothing, therefore the 2nd and third line defensemen have to step up and play more time and fill the gaps. All on top of a 42 year old goalie....sheesh. It could be a long season...

But I will continue to BE THE THUNDER! (That was just for you Face...)

No that will NEVER do....I sing (or thunder) win or lose, it is just far more difficult when you lose!

We get another chance on Thursday...let's see if we can beat the Islanders!

That is our advertising tag line this season.. "Be the Thunder" Whole campaign is based on the home crowd being the 7th man and all of that. It seems to be working!

Leaf power!!! Beat the Habs on Saturday night in OT.

I saw an encouraging sign on the way home from work today at a sports store......"Reserve your Leafs Stanley Cup Jersey today".

(if only that would come true, just once in my lifetime.....)

Thunderbug does do kids parties and I no longer have any of those, so I may have to go out and rent some! His first year of existence he looked more like an actual lightning bug and his butt lit up. Players complained that it was distracting, so he is more cartoony now and no lightable butt!

Awww, I am sure with as well as the Leafs have been doing, eefan, they will be fine. Who did you lose to? Did they play poorly or just get out played? I hate losing, but it is not as bad if we are simply outclassed. If it is our fault.....LOOK OUT!!!
